Saying Goodbye
End of Life Care
With dignity and compassion
We wholeheartedly understand how difficult saying goodbye to a pet truly is.
We all wish pets could pass away naturally in their sleep after a long and full life, but sadly that is rarely the case. There comes a time when the kindest thing you can do for them is to help them pass peacefully and with dignity.
At Highgate Veterinary Clinic, we’re here to support you and your family through every step of your pet’s end of life care. Whether the timing is unexpected or follows a long journey, our caring and compassionate team will take the time to talk things through with you, ensuring you have the space to ask any questions you may have.
Pet bereavement
Ensuring peace & privacy
We have created a dedicated and supportive space for pets and their families that offers both peace and privacy. The room has light signs for quiet, is soundproofed, and has a separate exit from our main reception. You will have as much time as you would like with your pet and we’re here to support you.
If you would prefer for a vet to come to your home, get in touch with our team and we can talk you through this option.
